History has witnessed one of the most troubled times for the students due to the pandemic COVID-19. Educational Institutions have been closed since the first lockdown that began on 24th March 2020 and nothing is certain about the reopening of schools, and even when a decision to this effect will be announced, the schools will have to take lot of precautionary measures to ensure the safety of each student. Certainly a very big challenge too. However, despite the spike in the cases of COVID-19, the positive sign is the recovery rate in India. We can be proud of our immunity as well as laud the government for taking various steps to deal with the pandemic.
I am happy that within this very challenging situation, Sacred Heart School, Dumka has remained connected with all its students and the parents through online classes and periodical letters from the Manager of the School to students and to parents. The school too has conducted online exams, online competitions and online interactions. The parents deserve much appreciation for collaborating with the efforts of the school.
The school promises full support to all its students during the ongoing lockdown as well as when finally the school would reopen under the guidelines of the government in the coming months. Our wish for each student and parent is stay safe, stay healthy and stay happy. We remain connected as members of one learning family.
