Sacred Heart School, Dumka is a Christian Religious Minority English Medium School established, managed and administered by 'Dumka Catholic Diocese' a registered Society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 for the education and formation of boys and girls up to Secondary School level irrespective of any caste or creed or status. The school was blessed and inaugurated on 19th March 2007 by Rt. Rev. Julius Marandi, the Bishop of Dumka, who is also the President of the Governing Body and the Managing Committee. The manager of the school is Fr. S. Christu Das and the present Principal/Secretary is Sr. Aruna Mary Chinnabathini.
Principal Message
Though education is all about manifesting the Glory of God through changing life and civilizations, the children of our present age grow up in a world that is uncertain, confusing and even alarming. Materialism, radicalism, natural and manmade calamities, war and violence threaten the very fabric of our civilized life. In such a milieu we the parents and teachers have a greater responsibility to transform their young minds to be partners in building a love-nurtured civilization. It is our bounden duty to create and provide opportunities to develop their creative and inquisitive minds with positive vibes....
